We are going ahead with the outreach plan starting today. Email outreach will be at the core of the plan, but we'll use all resources available to us.

Dear (Enter Name),

I have been involved in an interesting project related to the upcoming Indian election and I would like to invite you to join me.

Vote Report India (votereport.in) is a collaborative citizen-powered election monitoring platform for the 2009 Indian general elections.

Step1: You can send reports about irregularities in the election process in four ways --

1. Send SMS starting with VoteReport to 5676785

2. Send email to report@votereport.in

3. Send tweet with #votereport

4. Submit online at votereport.in

Step 2: We will map the results on a Google map at votereport.in

Step 3: You can subscribe to alerts for your location on RSS, email or SMS.

I would also encourage you to spend some time at our website at votereport.in to get a sense of what we are doing.

If you like what we are doing, please join the Vote Report India community  at Twitter (@votereportindia), Facebook, Orkut, SMSGupShup or Google Groups and subscribe to our blog. If you have a blog or a website, please consider writing about Vote Report India and displaying our banners (200X200 and 150X150) on your blog or website.

Please participate in this initiative and help us ensure a free, fair and transparent election process in India.
